Finance Division

IFD is responsible for exercising expenditure control and management, ensuring rationalization of expenditure and compliance of economy measures in accordance with the instructions of the Department of Expenditure including regular monitoring of expenditure through monthly/ Quarterly reviews and submission of reports to the concerned. All Financial matters related to the division and Budget of the Department are being dealt in IFD.

Matters especially related to Supplementary Demands for Grants, Standing Committee for the Department, preparation of Budget and Budget Speech for the Finance Minister, Local Audit, Inspection Reports from CAG to DCPC, proposals from different divisions for financial concurrence, RE meeting with Secretary (Expenditure), Vetting of different sanctions of the Department, Surrender of Savings, Re-appropriations, matters pertaining to MEP/QEP of the Department, revalidation of unspent balances from one quarter to another, revised procedure for flow of funds under TSA/CNA, Matter relating to online web-portal i.e. MMIS & UBIS & APMS, RTI matters, Laying of Detailed Demands for Grants & Output Outcome Monitoring Framework in Parliament, Examination of EFC /SFC Notes initiated by DCPC etc.
